Why pay for additional services that you won’t ever use? Our approach to fulfillment only charges you for what you use. If you ever need additional assistance, our highly trained team is there to support all of your needs including:

Special Projects

$45/man-hour

Our most common “other” fees are special projects. This includes tasks like counting inventory, repackaging products, quality control, bagging products, or any other generic task not a part of your plan.

Container Unloading

$300 per 20′ container
$500 per 40’ container

If your cargo is “free loaded” and we need to off-load and palletize inventory for you, you’ll be billed based on the size of the container.

Minimum Pick and Pack Fee

$250/month

We have no restrictions when it comes to the size of clients we are willing to work with, but there is a cost associated with running each account on our platform and the support we provide. That’s why we have a minimum monthly pick fee. It starts at $250/month or equals your storage fees. If you don’t reach the minimum with your pick and pack fees, you will be billed the difference.

Packaging Materials

$.15 – $2.00

We stock over 50 different shipping boxes, bubble mailers, clear poly bags, white poly mailers, and pallets. If we don’t have the right size packaging material for your products, we can order it for you.

    Can I provide my own custom packaging?
    Absolutely! We know how important building your brand is and custom packaging is an amazing opportunity that can greatly enhance your customer’s perception of your product and brand.
    Custom boxes will be billed as an additional item for each order.

    What are batches?
    When fulfilling subscription boxes or crowdfunding orders, we set up an assembly line to kit “batches” of orders.
    A batch is a unique set of orders that have exactly the same combination of items in them.
    In order for the assembly line to be effective, there needs to be at least 50 orders in each batch. If not, there is a $15 batching fee to compensate for the lack of orders in each batch.
    Do you offer gift messages and how much does it cost?
    Yes! zipshipusa has gift message options that allow you to easily include messages and bestow "gift status" to any order.

    Here are the 2 options to choose from:

    1) Include gift message on a blank 4x6 card provided by zipshipusa. ($1)

    2) Include gift message on a custom 4x6 card, provided by you. ($0.80 + insert pick fee)

    *Gift messaging needs to be supported by your shopping cart.
    Can you handle fragile products? Does it cost extra?
    Our Happiness Engineers will examine your products and suggest custom packaging based on on your specific needs. If you have pre-exsiting requirements, just let us know and we'll accomodate those as well. We do charge an additional $.50/item for bubble pouches or other fragile packaging.
    What is the Minimum Pick and Pack Fee?
    To justify the amount of time and energy we put into each project, we have a monthly minimum pick and pack fee of $250. If you don’t reach this minimum with your picking fees, we will add the rest to your monthly invoice. Let’s say your picking fees are $160, and the minimum is $250. That means you would have to pay the $90 difference.
    We don’t do this to put pressure on you, but it’s a fair assurance that your projections are honest. Your minimum monthly fee equals the storage charges per month.
    What integrations do you support?
    Because we use the latest technology, linking to e-commerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, and BigCommerce is seamless. We also offer FBA (fulfillment by Amazon) preparation services if you ship with Amazon. In addition, we are EDI-compliant and capable of integrating with any big-box retailer such as Walmart or Target.
    Do I need to sign a long-term contract?
    Not at all. While many of our clients enjoy long-term relationships, they’re not required. Our month-to-month agreements allow you to tailor the services you receive to keep up with changing markets and trends.
    Do you provide wholesale fulfillment?
    Yes. Whether you need direct-to-customer or wholesale fulfillment, we process orders using the available inventory you keep at our warehouse locations.
    Do you support returns?
    Absolutely. Our sophisticated software allows us to process order returns quickly and efficiently.
    What is your refund or cancellation policy?
    We value your business and strive to provide outstanding services. However, if you are not completely satisfied for any reason, you may cancel at any time. Please see below for more information on our return policy.
    All returns must be postmarked within thirty (30) days of the purchase date. All returned items must be in new and unused condition, with all original tags and labels attached.

    Returns and Refunds

    To return an item, please email customer service at info@zipshipusa.com to obtain a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number. After receiving an RMA number, place the item securely in its original packaging and include the return form that’s provided. Mail your return to the following address:

    Please note: Customer (you) is responsible for all return shipping charges. We strongly recommend using a trackable method to mail your return. Zip Ship is not responsible for items lost in the mail.

    Refunds: Upon receiving your return shipment and after inspecting the condition of the item, we’ll process your request. Please allow at least fourteen (14) days from the receipt of your request for processing. Refunds may take 1-2 billing cycles to appear on your credit card statement. We’ll notify you by email when your return process is complete.

    What type of packaging options do you offer?
    We package your orders according to your specifications. For more information, call your dedicated account representative to discuss the details and to create a customized packaging solution for your needs.
    Are there order minimums?
    Not at all. We handle orders of all sizes.
    May I visit Zip Ship?
    We love visitors. We offer tours at our Atlanta, Georgia location. Contact our friendly team to schedule your appointment.
    Can I view my inventory at anytime?
    Absolutely. Because we use a cloud-based order fulfillment system, you’re free to view your inventory from any location that has an internet connection.
    What are the costs associated with Zip Ship?
    Setting up an account to sync your online store with Zip Ship is always free. We also offer affordable rates for product storage and shipping services. For additional or customized services, we offer competitive pricing that’s easy on the budget.
    Do you ship internationally?
    We’re happy to ship internationally. Our competitive rates allow you to pass the savings to your customers.
    Where are you warehouses located?
    We have partnerships with a large network of warehouses across the southeastern United States. Our primary warehouse is located in Atlanta, Georgia. Contact our friendly team for details.
    What shipping services service does Zip Ship use?
    We offer shipping services with many of the major carrier services including FedEx, UPS, DHL, and USPS. Same-day delivery is also available in select markets.
    Is a tracking number provided for each of my orders?
    Yes. Once the fulfillment of an order is complete, it’ll be updated to “shipped” status. Your customer will be notified via email of the tracking information.
    How quickly are orders shipped?
    E-commerce orders are guaranteed to ship within 48 hours but usually ship within 24 hours. Wholesale orders are guaranteed to ship within 72 hours but usually ship within 48 hours. FBA orders ship in compliance with Amazon shipping standards.
    Do you offer storage insurance?
    When you store your inventory at zipshipusa, you have two options to insure your product:

    1) You add our location to your insurance policy

    2) You choose to waive inventory insurance

    Each option has its own advantages and disadvantages. Depending on the setup of your business and the value of your product, you can decide which option is best for your business.
    What qualifies as a "special project?"
    A special project is a non-standard task that can still include everything from kitting & assembly to labeling or inventory reconciliation. All special projects should be submitted to your Happiness Engineer, so they can define the scope and provide a quote for the project prior to execution.
